Erik Abend

Erik Abend has been an educator for 15 years; since 1999, he has provided training, information and representation services in the ISONE and NYISO wholesale electricity markets. Erik began providing consulting services to wholesale market participants in 2004; prior to that, he developed and delivered training programs and market and technical support services for NEPOOL Participants and ISO New England staff. Previously, Erik developed software training programs, on-line help systems and training manuals, and taught mathematics. He holds a Master of Science in Training and Development from Lesley College and a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis. Erik lives with his wife, Lauren, sons Sebastian and Maitreya, three cats, eight goats, and around 20 chickens on a passive solar homestead in the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts.

Peter K. DeRego, Esq.

Peter DeRego is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Vermont, and joined BTT Information Services in 2006. Previously, Peter developed the corporate intranet for Endwave Corporation in Sunnyvale, California using a variety of internet scripting technologies. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in Washington D.C., and received a Bachelor of Science in Operations and Management Information Systems from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Peter lives in Brattleboro, Vermont with his wife, Kim.
